house stuff

So there is this house I have fallen in love with -- very old and dilapidated but with potential. It is in the area I prefer. Large enough for my needs with so much work needed I could be busy for ever! Don't laugh I do like that in a house - what good is a flash new home with nothing to fix????

Best of all this house could possibly be in a price range I could afford IF my house here was sold in time! BIG IF!!! The auction is far to soon and I doubt I could get mine listed and sold in time and if I missed out and sold this maybe I would have nowhere to go!

Isn't it always the way? The right thing comes along at the wrong time. It is easy to say something else will come along but this one has taken my heart and thrown my imagination into a whirl --I can picture the finished reno down to the potted plants by the tall picket fence!

Most houses in the area are way over my minimal budget, and my income just doesn't cut it. I suppose I shouldn't look until I have this one sold but I do like to plan ahead --

Might have to torture myself further and check out the auction even if I can't buy it - maybe the people who do buy it might want some ideas on how to fix it -- I could tell them -- I have it all worked out in my head, costs too. Damn I am stupid - I am guessing it will go for around a hundred thousand more or less, max 140 min 90 thou.

If I sell mine for $160,000 it's all good but if not my dream is crushed and my imaginary renovation a total waste - I wonder if other people do that?
